Two days later, Nie Huaisang will find a ridiculously cute beaver figurine waiting for him in front of his door, along with a note saying ]

One pointed talk and hours later, when Nie Huaisang returns from the bar, he will find Jiang Cheng sitting in front of his door, dozing by this point but still stubbornly remaining in place. Better than a gift, maybe. He can only hope. Or at least more difficult to return. ]
[Finding a dozing Jiang on his doorstep is not what he expected and Huaisang stops and stares at him for a moment before he deliberately takes a picture. Then he just moves to open the door behind him.]
[ Jiang Cheng is woken when the door opens and he finds himself toppling backwards. He gives a startled squeak and barely manages to catch himself, looking up to shoot Huaisang a disgruntled scowl before he sits himself up properly.
He shakes his head. ] No. Wait. I didn't wait here all night to be sent home before even talking to you.
And why do you think I want to talk to you? I'm pretty sure the fact I haven't responded to anything proves I'm not in the mood for that, Jiang Wanyin. [And he's stepping over the other man before he can sit up, moving to close the door.]
